Arbitration

Arbitration is an alternative dispute resolution process in which an experienced legal professional reviews evidence, hears arguments, and then issues a binding decision to resolve the conflict. It offers similar benefits to a court ruling but without the burdens of a lengthy trial.

The arbitrator essentially acts as a private judge who objectively considers both sides of the dispute. Prior to arbitration, all involved parties must agree to accept the final decision of the arbitrator. During the arbitration hearing, each party presents their position while the arbitrator listens impartially.

After reviewing all relevant facts and testimony, the arbitrator will issue a written determination to conclude the process. The arbitrator's decision is legally binding on all parties and can be enforced through the court system if necessary.

Arbitration provides a definitive resolution without the time and expense of traditional litigation. It typically takes months not years, and avoids many formal procedures and legal complexities. This efficient process lets parties move forward constructively.
